I started making films with friends in high school, running all around my hometown in the suburbs of Philadelphia, so film school was an obvious choice for me. In my four years at Emerson College in Boston, I produced a series of computer animations and visual effects shorts. I graduated in 2001 with a BA in Film and New Media.

I moved to Los Angeles to work in Computer-Based Visual Effects for film, and lived there for 2 years. In 2003 I landed a job working on the Matrix sequels, and was moved up to San Francisco. I currently live in the Cole Valley neighborhood of SF, with my wife, painter and fine artist, Sadie Jernigan Valeri .

Over the last few years, having survived the time-demanding assault of the vfx industry, I've begun again to focus attention on my personal film projects. Please check out the films section of this website to view my current work, and keep checking back for updates. Thanks for visiting!
